A quiet studio wall of hung prints in soft daylight

About

The Artist

A one-person fine-art practice built around patience, quiet light, and prints that still hold a wall long after the moment they were made.

Statement

Images before words

Placeholder biography — replace this with your own story.

I've spent the last decade photographing landscapes, still life and abstract form in the quiet light they already hold — no heavy setups, no manufactured drama, just long looking and a camera that happens to be there for it. The frames I care about are the ones that keep a room still, the kind you return to rather than pass by.

Halcyon Frames began as a wall of prints I couldn't stop rehanging, and it's still run that way: each series edited hard, printed by hand, and offered as open or limited editions rather than an endless feed. I'd rather one photograph earn its place above a mantel than a hundred scroll past and vanish.

I trained in landscape photography before drifting toward abstraction and still life, and that habit of watching before pressing the shutter never left. It's why the work leans on paper and edition as much as on the image — the print is where the picture finally becomes an object you can live with.

This paragraph is placeholder text you can replace. Tell collectors where you studied, what you photograph most, and how your prints are made and editioned — the more specific and human it is, the more it does the work of a gallery wall without sounding like a sales pitch.

What to expect

Landscape, still life & abstract

Fine-art series across landscape, still life and abstract form. Existing editions and new commissions are both welcome, and both get the same unhurried attention.

Made to order

Nothing sits in stock — each print is produced for you on archival paper, hand-inspected, and typically shipped within two to three weeks. Rush production is possible when a deadline is tight.

Ships worldwide

Based in Seoul, shipping internationally. Prints travel insured and tracked, with framing, crating and any duties quoted transparently up front so nothing surprises you.

Signed & editioned

Limited editions are signed, numbered and paired with a certificate of authenticity. List your shows, features and collections here so collectors can see the record behind the prints.

Sized to your wall

Most images can be printed larger on request. Tell me the wall, the room and the light and I'll recommend a size and paper that sits right in the space.

Clear provenance

Edition terms and usage are explained in plain language before you buy, so there's never a question later about the run size, the number, or how a print may be shown.
